Pretend

Do I have to pretend again?
That I need to write
Whilst I have nothing to say?

Do I have to pretend again?
While I am so lost,
In this immense place
I can’t find my ways.

Do I have to pretend again?
There are still ways out
While all doors are closed
And I am in chains.

Do I have to pretend again?
Just for all other people
To feel better and in peace
While I am being torn apart.

Do I have to pretend again?
When my time is elapsing sand
Escaping of my hourglass destiny
Into my hole of despair.

Do I have to pretend again?
That I need to write
When I just want to escape.
